A whole Hog is $1,000. What you pay when you order is just the non-refundable deposit.
We raise the pigs on our farm until they are about 7 months old and weigh approximately 300-350 pounds. Then we take the pigs to a USDA processor. For whole hog purchases there is a non-refundable deposit fee of $500 due a month before processing. Once the deposit is recieved we will send to you a cut sheet to customize your cuts. If you choose a smoked cured ham for one of your cuts it is an extra $25. Final payment is due at pick up. Current processing date for a hog is Summer.
