A half of a Hog is $400.  What you pay when you order is just the non-refundable deposit. 
 
We raise the pigs on our farm until they are about 7 months old and weigh approximately 250-300 pounds. Then we take the pigs to a USDA processor.  For half hog purchases there is a non-refundable deposit fee of $150 due a month before processing.  Once the deposit is recieved we will send to you a cut sheet to customize your half hog cuts.  Final payment is due at pick up.  Current processing date for a hog is March 27th.
